What most of the negative reviews said about this anime are things I widely agree with, although it wasn't what struck me to give my own two cents about this.
The art style and music composure of Shoushin Series is really what carried it for me and a large part of why I continued watching, the storyline wasn't really a presence until the latter half of the series and even then it took a largely questionable turn for me.
